An advanced technique where a group of at least 2 mages (works better with 3 or more) use warp to travel in the virtual world to an area where no mage is physically located.
To "leapfrog", first agree upon a direction of travel. Then, cast warp (upside-down U) on the mage in your group that is closest to your destination. Often, you will slightly overshoot their position, allowing teammates to then target you and warp to you.
You can also summon Magical Structures to expedite the travel process. For example, neutral gateways in your path of travel can be taken over using a dominator, becoming a target for warp. Repeatedly summoning dominators and warping to them is also a technique for virtual travel, and though painstaking, it requires no teammates to travel in this fashion.
