Missions reward players with bonuses by completing specific goals sometimes within a limited time frame.

Missions may or may not give potions, but they always reward some energy and XP. The XP is based on the mage's current level.

There are specific level-based missions that can only be done one time.

The player always has at least 2 missions, both random with a 3-hour timer: a spirit-capturing mission and faction mission. If completed or the time expires, a new one replaces it.
